Mandy studied business administration at Humber College. Shortly after, she knew she needed to get her foot in the door, so she took a temporary position at an insurance company. She turned that temporary job into a ten-year career, working her way to a position as the regional supervisor responsible for overseeing the day-to-day branch operations and administration support staff across the western provinces of Canada.
Her experience working at a major financial institution has given her key insight that she applies to her current role. She’s been with DSB Claims since the very beginning of the firm in 2012, when she and Dara Banga identified the need for an option in the market that valued customer satisfaction as the key to retaining policyholders, brokers and insurers. Back then, Mandy worked behind the scenes, which allowed her to stay at home and raise her two sons. Now, she’s taking on a more visible, full-time role as the Vice President of Administration.
The personal side
Mandy was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario – home of the Hamilton Tiger Cats! She is married with two sons, and has a teenage stepdaughter. The family’s smallest family member is a Shih Tzu named Rocky. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling whenever possible.

DSB Claims is growing. In fact, the premier claims adjusting firm has quadrupled in size. As the Vice President of Administration, Mandy K. Sandhu is responsible for providing the administrative and ancillary support necessary to make sure this growth goes smoothly.
Working closely with her fellow executive team members, Mandy establishes systems and processes to promote operational plans and financial targets. She ensures that daily operations run smoothly and efficiently across multiple locations, and she develops and enhances essential policies and procedures. She also supports the growing team of Branch Managers and Executive Adjusters while maintaining key relationships with external vendors. On top of this, she handles marketing and branding initiatives to continue the firm’s impressive growth.

Following the example of Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon, Mandy believes in the importance of obsessing over her customers. She’s passionate about what she’s does, both in terms of her career and her family. She loves the thrill of facing and overcoming challenges.
